And Ronaldo, who now plays for Saudi side, Al-Nassr, simply couldn't turn the opportunity to attend the even with his son, Cristiano Jr.

A few days previously, Ronaldo had scored his first hat-trick for his new club as he's beginning to look at home in Saudi Arabia.

However, we get the impression that he wasn't particularly interested in the fight between Fury and Paul.

Sitting in a VIP section alongside his son, Ronaldo was all smiles before and during the undercard events.

And footage has captured his reaction after Fury was declared the winner by split decision against Paul - and it's fair to say he looked unimpressed.

IFN Boxing has filmed Ronaldo as the decision was called - and the Portuguese superstar barely flinched a muscle throughout.

And when it was announced that Fury had won, Ronaldo left almost immediately.

Fans believe he really didn't want to be there.

We probably think that Ronaldo's son wanted to be there more than he did...

Fury: I'm going to get bigger and better

After the fight, Fury admitted that this clash with Paul has consumed his life for the last two years.

"For the past two years this is all that has consumed my life," he said on BT Sport.

"Everybody thought I was running scared but tonight I made my own legacy. This is my first main event, I am going to get bigger and better and if he wants a rematch, bring it on."

Paul: Judge me by my losses

Meanwhile, Paul had no hard feelings toward his victorious opponent - even if he didn't agree with the judges.

One judge scored it 75-74 in the American's favour, while the other two scored it 76-73.

"All respect to Tommy, he won. Don't judge me by my wins, judge me by my losses," Paul said.

"I don't know if I agree with the judges, it is what it is but that is the boxing world."
