In the opening minutes of Manchester United’s Champions League clash with Juventus, a supporter sprinted onto the pitch and made a beeline for Cristiano Ronaldo.
He didn’t quite make it as far as Ronaldo before he was intercepted by stewards, but the Portuguese superstar made sure his efforts had not been in vain with a lovely gesture.

And it was all smiles for Ronaldo at the end of the match too, after Paulo Dybala’s goal gave the Bianconeri a 1-0 victory on his old stomping ground.
