Cristiano Ronaldo may not have made his debut for his new club in Saudi Arabia yet but he must be loving his new accommodation.
Ronaldo left Manchester United by mutual consent in December following a revealing interview with Piers Morgan in which he criticised the club’s owners and manager Erik ten Hag.
After leaving Old Trafford, Ronaldo has since signed the most lucrative contract in football history at Al-Nassr, worth an astonishing £175 million a year.
He may have waved goodbye to European football and the Champions League but Ronaldo will finish his career with extremely heavy pockets.
The Portuguese star will live a luxurious life during his two-and-a-half years in Saudi Arabia and is currently on the lookout for a permanent abode for him and his family.
But in the meantime, he will be living it up at the incredible Riyadh’s Four Seasons hotel.
According to the Daily Mail, Ronaldo and his entourage will spend the next month at the hotel with the very best views over the capital.
Ronaldo’s team, featuring his family, friends and security will take up 17 rooms at the hotel and the overall bill over the next month will be around £250,000.
Ronaldo himself – along with his girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez and their five children – will be staying in the Kingdom Suite in the Kingdom Tower, with a room size of more than 3000ft over two floors.
The suite offers incredible views and its surroundings ‘lend a unique sense of exclusivity to this versatile suite, which features an elegant dining room, pantry, living room and executive study.’
Ronaldo will be able to ‘entertain guests with unparalleled views of Riyadh. Our newest two-storey suite spans the 48th and 50th floors of the Hotel, with a soaring living room, a private office, a dining room and a media room.’
The Kingdom Suite price isn’t listed on the hotel’s website – nor is the adjacent ‘Royal Suite’ – and has to be booked privately.
However, the smaller ‘Presidential Suite’ can be booked online at the eye-watering cost of £3,300 a night.
So, what else does the hotel offer?
Along with unrivalled views of the city, they will be treated to five-star cuisine with ‘the best of dishes from China, Japan, India and the Middle East, with the freshest ingredients to order.’
But Ronaldo won’t be eating with the rest of the hotel guests. Instead, chefs will ‘provide an exclusive in-room dining service for Ronaldo and his family.’
Hotel staff have also been asked not to request selfies with Ronaldo.
The hotel itself is set within a mall with several luxury branded shops.
The hotel also offers an exclusive evening meal on the Sky Bridge, at the top of the Kingdom Tower.
On its website, the Four Seasons states: “Riyadh’s most breath-taking view is all yours during a private dinner for two at Sky Bridge.
“Spanning the top of Kingdom Centre, home to Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh, the 300-metre-high bridge gives you an unmatched panorama of the glittering city below.
“At a candlelit table set at the centre of the bridge, you’ll indulge in a three-course gourmet dinner prepared for you by our Four Seasons culinary team.”
