Fresh off sending Manchester City packing from the Champions League in midweek, Los Blancos will turn their attentions back towards matters on the domestic front, in the latest edition of El Clásico.

Ancelotti and co. will head into proceedings in the knowledge that a victory over the club’s arch rivals will see them all but secure the La Liga title, courtesy of an 11-point advantage atop the table.

In turn, a strong line-up is expected on the part of the capital giants.

Speaking to the media in his pre-match press conference on Saturday, Carlo Ancelotti, as a result, was drawn on his plans for his Clásico XI.

And one particular point of interest came in the form of an update on the potential participation of Éder Militão.

Stopper Militão has of course featured off the bench in each of Real’s last three outings, on the back of a lengthy spell on the sidelines with an ACL tear.

Asked if the Brazilian could be in line for his first start since all the way back in August on Sunday, boss Ancelotti hinted that as much could well be on the cards:

“Eder Militão starting tomorrow? Yes, he could. He needs minutes. He’s ready. He’s an option for tomorrow.”
