Corinthians have traveled to the Maracanã down a goal to face Flamengo in the Copa do Brasil round-of-16 second leg in what will surely be one of their most difficult matches of the season.
With Fagner out of the squad, Michel has taken his place at right-back in an otherwise unchanged XI from the side that knocked off Deportivo Lara in the Copa Sudamericana.
As Fabio Carille usually does, the side will come out playing in a 4-1-4-1 formation with Ralf playing in the defensive midfield role. With Gustagol still not 100 per cent, Vagner Love features as the sole striker.
Meanwhile, Flamengo are missing both Giorgian De Arrascaeta and Gustavo Cuéllar who are with Uruguay and Colombia to prepare for Copa America.
Robert Piris Da Motta and Éverton Ribeiro take their place in Abel Braga’s 4-2-3-1.
Gabigol starts up top with Diego playing behind him in Flamengo’s high-powered attacking formation.
This has all the makings of a classic.
