Premier League champions Manchester City will have a scout present at one of Tuesday evening’s international friendlies, it has been reported.

While the ongoing football season approaches the business end of the campaign, Manchester City have continuously been linked with a number of high-profile and youth approaches for some of the game’s most exciting talents.

One recent pursuit has seen Manchester City and their wider parent company, the City Football Group, finalise a deal for rising Philadelphia Union talent Cavan Sullivan of the United States.

Sullivan becomes the latest in a long line of talents to agree to join the City project, alongside the likes of Savio and Yan Couto from Brazil in recent years, whilst Luciano Rodriguez of Uruguay could also follow the same path in the coming weeks.

In their latest talent hunt, Manchester City staff have opted to monitor one of the international friendly matches taking place in the European game and over at the Puskas Arena in Budapest.

That is as reported by Scouts in Attendance, who reveal that Manchester City will have a scout present at the international friendly contest being played out between Hungary and Kosovo on Tuesday evening.

While Manchester City staff could be on the look-out for one of the fresh names on show in Hungary, it must be noted that the City Football Group have a specific name representing their nation for the hosts.

Despite being named on the substitutes bench in the initial starting line-ups, Zalán Vancsa has been with the City Football Group since the winter transfer window of 2022, having been assigned to Belgian side Lommel and spending the current season at MTK Budapest.

Manchester City are yet to be directly linked to names of either Hungarian or Kosovan descent, and as such it is difficult to pinpoint who the club could be monitoring in Tuesday evening’s contest.
