CM.it: Toulouse director Comolli could join Milan hierarchy – his background | OneFootball

There could be a new arrival at AC Milan to consolidate the project at management level in Damien Comolli, according to a report.

According to Calciomercato.it, Comolli could soon become a part of Milan under the still relatively new ownership of RedBird Capital Partners. He is the current director of football for Toulouse in Ligue 1, but has previous experience in the Premier League having been sporting director at Liverpool, as well as working for Arsenal and Tottenham .

Comolli could become a direct link for Cardinale to the sporting area, but his arrival would not mean that anyone in the current management would be saying goodbye, even though it obviously cannot exclude it.

Almost everything will depend on whether or not Stefano Pioli manages to steer the team into the next edition of the Champions League which is the true objective of Cardinale and the leadership. Changes could arrive this summer if things turn more sour.
