CM: Milan still interested in RB Salzburg forward but Roma could rival them | OneFootball

Roma are looking to revamp their attack and could rival AC Milan for the signing of a Red Bull Salzburg star, according to a report.

According to Calciomercato.com, striker Gianluca Scamacca has said yes to Roma and he is Tiago Pinto’s main target to reinforce the striker role, but now West Ham must be convinced to accept a loan deal.

The Hammers want to raise as much as possible from the sale of the Italian considering that only 12 months ago they paid €36m plus €6m in bonuses to sign him from Sassuolo.

In addition to Wilfried Zaha who would be a free transfer, another surprise option could be in Austria and more specifically Noah Okafor of Salzburg.

It could represent a mercato battle with Milan, who remain admirers of the Swiss international. Okafor can leave RB Salzburg for €25m and may well be the perfect profile for José Mourinho in terms of technical characteristics.
