Francesco Camarda is starting a new experience, but Milan retain an option to have him back.
The 17-year-old bomber is one of the most interesting youngsters in Europe, but last season he found little space, especially in the second half of the season in a struggling Milan.
Today, the move of Camarda to Lecce became official: the striker joins Eusebio Di Francesco’s side and will hope to find more playing time in a side hoping to stay another year in Serie A.
“Milan announces the departure of Francesco Camarda to US Lecce on loan, with the latter holding an option to make the move permanent and Milan retaining a buyback clause. At the same time, the player has renewed his contract with the Club until 30 June 2028. The Club wishes Francesco all the best for the upcoming season,” a statement reads.
The option to buy is for €3m while the buy-back is for €4m.
