CM: Milan big admirers of Argentine talent Messi singled out for special praise | OneFootball

Nico Paz has had a great start to the season with Como and now he is earning praise from Lionel Messi no less, while AC Milan are watching him closely.

Calciomercato.com relay Messi’s words after Argentina’s rout of Bolivia earlier in the week: “Nico has many qualities and understands the game perfectly. He has an impressive mind and works with a coach who is a friend of mine [Cesc Fabregas] who will help him grow a lot more.”

The endorsement for Paz comes directly from the arguably the best player of all time, after he got an assist for the Inter Miami star during the 6-0 win. Nico joined the Real Madrid youth sector in 2016 and from that moment he has risen to the point of playing for Los Blancos’ first team.

A goal against Napoli in the Champions League preceded the fascinating choice to accept the ambitious project of Como, who invested €6m to sign him permanently. However, Paz remains under the control of Real Madrid who have guaranteed themselves 50% of the future resale and a buy-back clause.

Real Madrid are enthusiastic about the growth of a player who, after having already provided several assists, is looking for his first goal in Serie A after having come close to doing so on several occasions. His future depends on Carlo Ancelotti who is very tempted to bring him back, a bit like with Brahim Diaz.

Milan are one of the clubs that are following him with great attention, while Napoli were left impressed in the recent meeting with Como at the Maradona.
