AC Milan are in talks with various agents and agencies as the summer transfer window approaches, and a Spurs midfielder has emerged in discussions with one of them.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan and the Unique Sports Group agency have been in dialogue on multiple fronts for several months. Malick Thiaw’s future has been talked about, as well as a potential move for Wolfsburg’s French defender Maxence Lacroix.

At the beginning of the year Spurs midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg chose the Unique Sports Group as his new representatives and the Italian agent Puccinelli works for them. This is a clear signal, because the 28-year-old would like to try an experience in Serie A after having been close to a transfer to Juventus in the past.

The Tottenham midfielder was offered to Milan in April and the Rossoneri have taken note of the financial requests and are concretely evaluating the option. Both Geoffrey Moncada and the new coach Paulo Fonseca like Hojbjerg for his characteristics and because of his experience.

Hojbjerg is below Youssouf Fofana of Monaco and Mats Wieffer of Feyenoord in the list of preferences and the idea is to wait until the end of July regardless of the other objectives to understand if Tottenham will lower their €20m demands, given he has a year left on his deal.
