Paris Saint-Germain humiliated Real Madrid 4-0 this Wednesday, July 9, at MetLife Stadium in the Club World Cup 2025 semi-final. Thanks to a dazzling attacking display orchestrated by Fabian Ruiz, Ousmane Dembélé and Gonçalo Ramos, the Parisians cruise into the final where they will face Chelsea.

As Paris Saint-Germain continue their stunning domination of European and world football, Real Madrid seem far from done with humiliation in 2025. Under the guidance of Xabi Alonso, Los Blancos bow out without honor in his first major clash since taking charge—a match that saw Modric honored as he departs and a poorly organized squad collapse.

PSG sealed qualification within half an hour

Fabian Ruiz opened the scoring as early as the 6th minute, capitalizing on a well-executed high press from the Parisians. Ousmane Dembélé then doubled the lead just three minutes later, taking advantage of a defensive miscue from Real Madrid. Just before the half-hour mark, PSG struck again. Hakimi and Dembélé combined brilliantly on the right flank before Fabian Ruiz finished off the move with a clinical low shot for his second goal (3-0).

After the break, Real Madrid were unable to close the gap. PSG's relentless high pressing and technical superiority completely overwhelmed the Madrid defense. Late in the match, substitute Gonçalo Ramos put the finishing touch on the rout, slotting home a perfect assist from Bradley Barcola (4-0, 87th minute).

This victory propels PSG into the final against Chelsea this Sunday, July 13. The Parisians, already crowned champions in Ligue 1, Coupe de France, Trophée des Champions and Champions League, now aim for a rare and historic quintuple.
