Het Nieuwsblad are reporting that Club Brugge are talking to unnamed clubs from the Premier League and Saudi-Arabia over the departure of Nigerian international Raphael Onyedika. The young Nigerian has spent the last two seasons in Belgium and impressed greatly during the sides run to the title last season. Transfermarkt values the 23-year-old at around €10m and given that he still has a contract with the club until 2027, Club will likely be negotiating a deal in excess of this amount. In past years they have shown an ability to get absolute value for their star players.
They will certainly be looking to get more than the players value, having spent €9.5m to bring him to Belgium back in the summer of 2022. Onyedika joined the side from Danish side FC Midtjylland. During his time with the club, the midfielder played 57 games, scoring four goals and grabbing three assists. He also won the Danish cup during his time with the club. At Club, Onyedika has made 91 appearances with four goals and two assists. He was a key player during the play-offs last season as they overturned a deficit to win their 19th Pro League title.
