Mundo Deportivo report that Clément Lenglet is set to travel to London this weekend to join Tottenham.
After opting to join the north London club this week, Lenglet has been given permission by Barça to complete his loan move.
The French centre-back is expected to travel to London this weekend to undergo a medical before being officially presented as a new Spurs player.
Tottenham will pay €5 million for the loan, including part of the player’s salary, and the agreement between Spurs and Barça will include an option for the English side to buy the player.
Despite having other offers, Lenglet has decided to join Tottenham, who he considers one of the Premier League’s top teams.
Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has also played a role in convincing the 27-year-old to join the club, who completed the signing of Richarlison from Everton earlier today.
The France international has a contract with Barcelona until June 2026.
