GARETH TAYLOR PREVIEW

"I don't expect them to do anything different from what we’ve seen previously which has got them some success but you never know.

"They have the capacity to do a couple of things if they come out and engage and are brave with the pressing. We need to be aware at that.

"The game at the King Power was a positive for us in terms of the result. We knew we should have put them to bed earlier than we did. It’s just being aware of their dangers and threats.

"This competition doesn't give you many chances so it’s important for us that we're not taking it lightly on Wednesday night.

"It’s a good run of home fixtures for us now starting with this one. We understand the importance of this game.

"It's important to get nine points on the board, it gives us a good chance of progressing."

LAST TIME OUT

City enjoyed bragging rights as we defeated United 3-1 in the Manchester derby.

After back-to-back defeats to Arsenal and Brighton in the Barclays Women’s Super League, Gareth Taylor will have been looking for a strong response at Old Trafford.

And that’s exactly what he got as goals from Jill Roord, Lauren Hemp and Bunny Shaw ensured Manchester is Blue.

PREVIOUS MEETING

Chloe Kelly scored the only goal of the game as City defeated Leicester 1-0 at the King Power Stadium.

Kelly unleashed a powerful 10th minute effort which was too strong for Janina Leitzig.

The result moved us back to the top of the Barclays Women’s Super League table.
