PREVIOUS MEETING

Our last FA Cup clash against Chelsea came in January 2023 in the third round of the competition, where goals from Riyad Mahrez (2), Julian Alvarez and Phil Foden sent us into the next round after a 4-0 win at the Etihad Stadium.

We’ve faced the the West #london side twice in the league this campaign since then, drawing 4-4 in a pulsating encounter at Stamford Bridge, and also drawing at the Etihad 1-1.

LAST TIME OUT

We made it to the semi-final after overcoming Newcastle United in he previous round, thanks to a brace from Bernardo Silva.

The win saw us create more history, progressing into a sixth consecutive FA Cup semi-final - the first time an English club has achieved such a feat.

As for Chelsea, they overcame Championship side Leicester City 4-2 at Stamford Bridge to reach this stage of the competition.

In general terms, City’s last match was on Wednesday evening in the Champions League, where we suffered a penalty shoot-out loss to Real Madrid to exit the competition at the quarter-final stage.

As for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, they overcame Everton 6-0 in the Premier League last Monday evening, with former City man Cole Palmer scoring four times.
