City’s 3-1 win over Watford on Saturday means we have set a new club record for top-flight league victories in a calendar year.
It was our 31st league win in 2021, surpassing the previous record of 30 set in both 2017 and 2019.

And with another five league games to play in 2021, there’s a strong chance Pep Guardiola’s side could extend the record further.
It’s the latest statistic underlining our incredible consistency.
City are now top of the Premier League table, one point ahead of second-placed Liverpool, and are currently on a seven-match winning streak in all competitions.
