Chucky Lozano returns to PSV after four-year Napoli stint

Napoli have announced the sale of winger Hirving Lozano to Dutch side Hirving Lozano on transfer deadline day.

The deal appears to have been completed in the dying minutes of the window, but the Mexico international will play his football at the Phillips Stadion this season having previously played for the club from 2017-2019.

The winger chipped in with a tally of 30 goals and 17 assists across 155 appearances for Napoli, but returns to PSV where he put up similarly impressive numbers.

Having put pen to paper on a five-year deal, Lozano expressed his delight over returning to Eindhoven. “It has been the wish of my family and myself to return to PSV,” he said.

“We fondly remembered our first spell in Eindhoven. It was very special and now I’m really looking forward to playing a big part for PSV this campaign and making my stay even more successful than the first period.”
