A proposed move for Hirving ‘Chucky’ Lozano to MLS startups San Diego FC is ‘all agreed and nearly done’, according to the Athletic.
The Mexico international and PSV winger was on record just this week stating that he would prefer moving back to Liga MX if he departs European football, but he appears to have turned heel.
As per the reports, San Diego would have to fork out close to $12 million for the former Napoli man to pry him away from PSV, but that does not appear to be a stumbling block.
Lozano had six goals and three assists as PSV went on to win the Eredivisie title this season, while he also played a role in Napoli’s Serie A triumph the previous season.
San Diego are set to begin play in MLS next season and have also been linked to legendary Spanish defender Sergio Ramos.
