Matt Turner returns to MLS

Matt Turner is back where it all began. The 30-year-old American goalkeeper has officially rejoined the New England Revolution on loan.

After leaving in 2022 to pursue a European adventure with Arsenal, Turner went on to play for Nottingham Forest and then Crystal Palace last season. He looked set for a move to Olympique Lyonnais this summer, but the French club’s financial troubles forced a sudden change of plans.

With 31 official appearances in England—7 with Arsenal, 20 for Nottingham, and 4 at Palace—Turner now returns to MLS looking to reignite his career in a familiar environment.
