Christopher Nkunku has committed his future to RB Leipzig, signing a new contract until 2026.

The Frenchman enjoyed a spectacular 2021/22 season, scoring 35 goals across all competitions as well as 14 assists across the Bundesliga and European competitions.

His form helped the club pick up their first ever piece of major silverware, scoring in the final as the club clinched the DFB-Pokal back in May, seeing him linked with the likes of Bayern Munich and Manchester United.

He has now signed a new deal, though.

According to kicker on Thursday, the contract contains a €60m release clause.
