After scoring a hat-trick with the San Jose Earthquakes, Javier ‘Chofis’ López has once again attracted the eyes of clubs all over Liga MX.
The striker took advantage of his moment in the sun to make clear that he wants to return to Chivas, where he was forced to leave due to indiscipline.
“My contract (with the Earthquakes) is about to end but I would love if they could buy me.
“Currently I belong to Chivas and if I have to return, I would be very happy. I would love to have another chance over there.”
Despite his three-goal haul, San Jose lost to Real Salt Lake 4-3 on the night, keeping the California-based side in 11th place in the Western Conference.
Chofis has eight goals in 23 games this season under the watch of former Chivas boss Matías Almeyda.
