Playing out a 0-0 draw at Broadwood Stadium, it was a strong showing from the Ghirls to take home a point on their travels in the derby clash.

Speaking to Celtic TV after the match, the experienced defender said: “I thought it was a well-deserved point after our performance, and we probably could have even got the three points.

'We played well and had a good few chances. Overall, we were really comfortable with the way we played.'

“We always know it’s going to be a hard game, especially at this time of the season, and what it might come down to.

“So we were focused and we knew what we had to do. Thankfully, we are still in a good position."

After rounding off the final derby of the season with a positive performance, the Ghirls are now all geared for a huge final days of the campaign.

With three matches against Partick Thistle, Hearts and Hibernian on the horizon, the SWPL title is still in Celtic’s hands going into those games.

And Craig says that the belief the entire squad showcased against Rangers on Monday afternoon is setting them up for a big final showdown.

“It’s all about us having the belief and confidence in each other, as a team and as a club,” she said.

“That is what we are working towards and focusing on for the next game. So we’ll just get the heads down, train well and keep pushing on

“Like I’ve said in previous interviews, every game now is a cup final to us. So we are just looking forward to the next game and trying to get those three points.

'Partick Thistle will be another hard game. That is all our focus is on, the next game and getting the three points.'

"Obviously training is going to be difficult, with us pushing each other and keeping our confidence going.

“But we are sure we can go out and do it. So fingers crossed we do.”
