How did Chivas U23 do?

The Red-and-White youngsters secured their sixth win of the CL24 with a 2-1 victory over Querétaro. This moved José Meléndez's team up to ninth place in the standings with 22 points and keeps them alive in the fight to enter the Liguilla.

Even though the visitors took an early lead, just 2' into the second half with a strong shot by Jesús Vega, the Guadalajara youth team managed to turn the game around. Armando Gonzalez was in charge of the equalizer, closing the gap on a breakaway down the left by Gael Garcia.

The 'Hormiga' himself gave the Red-and-White the three points at 55', completing an excellent high press from Chiverío that left him one-on-one inside the box, only to finish with an inside right to the near post.

How did Chivas U18 do?

After 16 matches, Guadalajara U18s drew 1:1 with Querétaro at the Verde Valle facilities. Sergio Pinto's team is now 47 points clear at the top of the league, and despite missing out on the extra point in a penalty shootout, they have taken a step back from Rayados, their closest rival in the table.

The Red-and-White youth players generated goal options in the first 45' that were unsuccessful due to small details, but which did reflect the superiority of Guadalajara on the field.

The second half arrived and with it came the Rebaño Sagrado's goal from the head of Raúl Nuño at 53'. Xandor Camacho broke down the left and crossed left-footed to the far post, where the red-and-white 244 was on hand to hammer the ball past Querétaro's near post.

Unfortunately for our team, the visitors found the equalizer at 67' with a header by José Sánchez from a corner kick.
