With another poor start to the season, Chivas have been planning a series of measures to turn around their bad form.
According to sources close to the club, one of these measures will be to bring back one of their most illustrious youth players, forward Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernández.
El Universal claims that the Vergara family is planning a new offer to sign the ‘Chicharito’, which would be on loan as the Mexican attacker has a contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy until the end of 2022.
Like many others who have come from Europe, Hernández has found success in Major League Soccer though he initially struggled to adjust.
Chicharito currently has 11 goals and two assists in 12 games with the Galaxy and is currently the fourth-highest goalscorer in the competition.
This is a far cry from the two goals he scored in 12 games last season so if he can keep this up, the Flock will have a tough time convincing the Galaxy to let him return to Guadalajara.
