Chivas Femenil lost for the first time in the Clausura 2025 in a hard-fought match against Rayadas, with a score of 0-1 on Matchday 5. The Rojiblancas were left with 8 points for the semester.

The Akron Stadium witnessed a match that matched the level of both teams, with emotions in both areas and with clearer options on the Guadalajara side. Antonio Contreras' team's offensive generation kept them close to Tajonar's goal, but they lacked the necessary precision to beat the goalkeeper. However, a set piece cost them the game.

Mazatlán will be the Rebaño's next opponent, which they will visit next Sunday, February 2, in the Pearl of the Pacific.

The goal

-At 92', a rebound inside the box allowed Ana Martínez to shoot into the goal and beat Félix.

The dangerous moments

-At minute 1, Guadalajara had a chance! 'Licha' escaped down the left and crossed for Ivonne González, who was just on target but sent her shot wide.

-At 27', Cervantes stole inside the area and after two feints, tried to surprise at the near post, but the goalkeeper reacted in time to keep the shot.

-At 29', the 'Comandante' tried her luck after a great individual play by Ivonne, who gave her a first-time left-footed shot that went wide.

-Jaramillo again at 43', again from mid-distance, looked for the goalpost, but missed by centimeters.

-In the next play, it seemed that the Rojiblancas' first goal would come, after Cervantes let the ball pass for the arrival of 'Viri' Salazar, who shot from the right to move the northern net, but was flagged offside.

-'Licha' had the first of the second half! A lethal counterattack by Ivonne left Cervantes alone, who was left facing the goal but could not connect the ball correctly and sent it wide.

-On the ensuing goal kick, the 'Predator' stole the ball and tried to break the goal in half, but her shot went wide of the post.

-At 48', Gonzalez had a chance after a great assist from 'Caro'; the Rojiblanca youth team player adjusted her body and crossed, but her shot hit the crossbar.

-Damaris took advantage of a rebound to shoot from distance, but her shot went over the crossbar.
