Chivas are likely to need to come up with a plan to account for the absence of JJ Macías for Saturday night’s clash with Toluca.
RÉCORD reported that the striker was unable to complete training on Friday and so is highly unlikely to feature for the Rojiblanco.
Macías arrived in the close season and has already become a mainstay in the Guadalajara side’s attack, having played the full 180 minutes of the Clausura season to date.
Alexis Vega is also ruled out with a shoulder injury that will keep him sidelined for three to four weeks.
The loss of these two players will force a rethink, at least in terms of selection, for manager Luis Fernando Tena.
