Chivas de Guadalajara will host Tigres UANL at the Estadio Akron this Saturday, February 12, 2022, and Los Rojiblancos‘ starting 11 has been leaked by journalist Jesus Hernandez.
Hernadez detailed that Chivas’ lineup will be as follows: Raul Gudino, Carlos Cisneros, Luis Olivas, Antonio Briseno, Cristian Calderon, Sergio Flores, Fernando Beltran, Isaac Brizuela, Roberto Alvarado, Jesus Angulo, Alexis Vega
The big changes in Marcelo Michel Leano’s lineup are that Antonio Briseno and Cristian Calderon will go into the lineup for Gilberto Sepulveda and Miguel Angel Ponce. Sepulveda picked up a red card in Chivas’ last match and will be unavailable for this match and Ponce is said to be a tactical change.
Hiram Mier was also an option to replace Sepulveda, but it appears his lack of form has kept him out of the lineup and granted Antonio Briseno an opportunity to start this match. The midfield and attack is the same that Michel Leano has typically put on the field as the attack is the most intriguing component of Chivas’ side.
Tigres is a very solid Liga MX team and the battles between Roberto Alvarado, Isaac Brizuela and Tigres’ fullbacks may be key in this game. Alexis Vega has been the key player for Chivas this season as his speed and dynamic style of play has the potential to have an impact against Miguel Herrera’s team.
The Chivas vs Tigres UANL match will be broadcast at 3:00 p.m. Pacific: TV Schedule: Telemundo, UNIVERSO Watch Live Online: FuboTV (Watch 7 Days Free)
