Chelsea pulled off a 1-0 away victory over Barcelona in the UEFA Women’s Champions League Semi-Finals 1st Leg.

Barcelona 0-1 Chelsea Lyon 3-2 Paris Saint-Germain

Erin Cuthbert’s goal saw Chelsea return home with the advantage, ahead of next Saturday’s second leg at Stamford Bridge.

Sjoeke Nusken set up Cuthbert to fire past goalkeeper Catalina Coll five minutes before half time, eventually ending an unbeaten home record for Barca going back over five years.

Barcelona were awarded a penalty for handball just five minutes into the second half, only for a VAR check to lead to a decision off offside instead.

Maya Ramirez surged forward and threatened to double the lead, Salma Paralluelo was wide for Barca, whose Aitana Bonmati was also off target right at the death.

Lyon launched a dramatic late comeback to overturn a two-goal deficit at home to PSG.

Marie-Antoinette Katoto scored just either side of the break for the visitors, before Lyon started to hit back in the 80th minute.

Kadidiatou Diani put Lyon back in the tie, Corventina Dumornay provided the equaliser and Amel Majri completed the amazing turnaround in the 86th minute.
