Chelsea are reportedly willing to pay a huge release clause in order to beat the competition for a player described as a ‘great pearl.’

On November 23rd, Mundo Deportivo reported Chelsea are one of the clubs chasing ‘great pearl’ Estevão Willian.

Chelsea, Barcelona and others are in the race for the 16-year-old and Mundo Deportivo provides the latest on his case, as cited by Sport Witness.

But as well as all of that above, earlier this month, Goal Brasil stated the Blues have opened talks to sign the Palmeiras young star.

So it looks like there is almost certainly some very strong interest from Chelsea’s side to try and sign the latest big South American talent coming through, as it looks like they are obsessed with doing.

The report claims Mauricio Pochettino’s side are one of the clubs ‘exerting the pressure’ and are ‘willing to pay’ the youngster’s €60m release clause.

It’s a massive release clause, but nothing would surprise me with Chelsea these days.
