Chelsea switch focus to Man City defender Ake

Manchester City's Nathan Ake is a key target for Chelsea this summer.

However, the Daily Mail suggests that Chelsea are worried that Bayern Munich may be the favourites to land Dutch centre-half de Ligt.

If that is the case, then Chelsea will turn their attention to his countryman Ake.

Juventus want a fee of around £68.9 million for the young defender.

The Blues are desperate to sign defenders this summer, as they lost Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen on free transfers.

Ake was a Chelsea player as a youngster, joining in 2011 and eventually leaving in 2017, having spent most of that time on loan at other teams.
