Chelsea have announced the arrival of defender Axel Disasi from Monaco.
A fresh injury to Wesley Fofana forced the Blues back into the market for defensive options, leading to the acquisition of the 25-year-old in a deal worth a reported €45m.
Disasi has signed a contract at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2029.
He made his France debut at the World Cup last year and has won four caps for his country.
The centre-back, who has 130 career appearances in Ligue 1, is also capable of filling in at right-back if required.
