Chelsea set to rebuff any offers for defender Malang Sarr | OneFootball

Chelsea defender Malang Sarr has been attracting plenty of interest from several big clubs recently.

The 22-year-old has been impressive for the Blues this season, making nine appearances including five in the Carabao Cup.

The talented centre-back produced an excellent performance against Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup last week.

His impressive display against Spurs saw him earn a start against Manchester City in the Premier League.

The Frenchman’s performances have reportedly caught the attention of several English clubs, including Newcastle United, West Ham United, Leicester City and Everton.

However, as per Foot Mercato, Chelsea are set to rebuff any offers for Sarr in the January transfer window.

He started his football career at French outfit Nice, earning his senior debut in 2016 when he was 17.

The defender made over 100 Ligue 1 appearances for the Eaglets before joining Chelsea in 2020.

He was sent on loan to Porto for the 2020-21 season but returned to Stamford Bridge last summer.

The centre-back has impressed everyone with his performances this season.

He can shine in London, and Chelsea have made the right decision to keep him at Stamford Bridge.
