Chelsea are now set to meet in the middle with club to get €50 million incoming transfer deal done early this week.
Things are going on, and Chelsea are now trying to get a couple of their main incoming transfer deals done as we push towards the end of the summer transfer window in the next five weeks.
There’s plenty of time left of course, but Chelsea are now trying to get a deal done to bring Jorrel Hato in from Ajax, as well as Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano put out the latest on what he knows on Hato to Chelsea late last night as the players has declared he only wants to join Chelsea this window.
And Sky Sports had the latest on what they know on Simons joining Chelsea this summer with a key detail coming out that should help the deal now go through.

Chelsea and Ajax have been negotiating the fee for Hato to head to Stamford Bridge, and there is now an expectation for the two to meet in the middle for something both sides will agree upon.
The Telegraaf in Holland are reporting Chelsea’s first bid for Jorrel Hato is €40m, but Ajax want €55 to €60 million.
But they go on to say that the expectation is that both clubs will reach an agreement somewhere in the middle. It’s said that €50 million is also a fantastic amount.
If Chelsea can get this one over the line, Hato will be a top player for the club. He’s young but players with maturity already and is a real all round player.
Let’s get it done!
