Chelsea seek versatile winger and new striker who does not hamper Nico Jackson

Chelsea are looking to do some more big business during this summer transfer window, and the latest report out this afternoon has the big breakdown on it all.

The club are clearly looking to make some more sales too, so you’d imagine that a lot of the future business will depend on that as well. But they are set to push ahead with two more new positions regardless, or at least that is what I am getting from the latest reports.

Sources: Chelsea readying potential move again for Premier League and England striker!! 👀

Football London reports today that Chelsea remain in the market for a new centre-forward despite completing the signing of Marc Guiu earlier in the week.

As well as that, Chelsea are also looking at bringing in a new winger this summer; someone who can operate in a variety of positions across the front-line.

So they clearly want to bring in some more versatile options and players who can fill a few positions by the looks of things.

Chelsea don’t want to hamper Nicolas Jackson’s development

Chelsea want competition for Nicolas Jackson

The report goes on to suggest that Chelsea are being wary about the progress and development of Nicolas Jackson whilst searching for a new striker, and they do not want to sign an option that might hamper him.

The report claims Chelsea are looking to bring someone in to support and to compete with Jackson, who enjoyed an impressive debut season with the club last time around.

They want to bring in a No.9 to help Jackson but at the same time they do not want to hamper his development and progress

I guess that all makes sense then. But what doesn’t make sense is why we have been linked to wanting to sign young strikers like Jhon Duran from Aston Villa, as surely that would hamper Jackson? And older striker would be less likely to do that – not blocking the long-term.
