Chelsea are reportedly ready to offer Nicolas Jackson in a deal to sign Rodrygo from Real Madrid this transfer window.

In perhaps a story that just sounds very far-fetched right now, claims are being made that Chelsea are about to try and pull of an astonishing deal to bring in the world class winger from La Liga.

It’s been quite heavily reported that Rodrygo could be moving on from Madrid this summer, and Chelsea are one club who are often linked with him as a potential destination.

It does not feel to me like it fits Chelsea’s way of recruiting lately with low wages and long contracts, I’m not sure Rodrygo would be appealed by that and I am sure he is on large wages. But I guess you can never say never in this game.

Meanwhile, Chelsea could pivot back to transfer target Benjamin Sesko this window and make an attempt to sign him still, should they sell Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku, per one report this week.

And as well as that, Chelsea could sign Ajax defender Jorrel Hato for 40m pounds this window after making an enquiry to sign him earlier in the week, reports one journalist this week.

As reported by Defensa Central, Chelsea are eyeing an exchange deal between Rodrygo and Nicolas Jackson.

However, it goes on to say that Real Madrid are more inclined to receive a fee, since they need to strengthen other positions, such as defence or midfield.

Personally, I don’t see anything at all in this rumour so it might be worth taking a raincheck on this one and just seeing what happens Chelsea fans.
