One Chelsea player has been spotted re-watching the full final which he won on the second anniversary of the game yesterday.
It’s great to see things like this, and for some of the lads who win competitions like this, there will be no better feeling every again.
The World Cup is THE biggest trophy you can lift as a player in football, and Enzo Fernandez did just that only two years ago.
On Dec. 18, 2022, Argentina won the World Cup in the most dramatic way possible, beating France in a penalty shootout after a breathless 3-3 draw in Lusail, Qatar.
The game was an instant classic, one of the best finals anyone could remember, packed with unforgettable moments.
Fernandez was fully involved in everything and was a huge cog in his team’s strengths that saw them go on to lift the most prestigious trophy that night.
Love to see it!
As you can see in the image above, Chelsea’s Fernandez was spotted re-watching the 2022 World Cup final yesterday, celebrating its second anniversary.
Fernandez has had a tough time at Chelsea since joining the club, but in recent games things have really picked up and he has consistently been performing much better, rarely dropping a sub 7 performance.
The midfielder is finally showing why Chelsea put so much money down on him when they prized him away from Benfica in what was one of the craziest transfer sagas that our club has ever been involved in.
Everyone has been so puzzled with his up and down form since he came in, but we are finally seeing the player that Blues fans all believed we are signing and not just for one or two games, for a consistent amount of time now.
