“You have to enjoy watching” – Shamrock Rovers boss details why Chelsea have been a joy to watch | OneFootball

Shamrock Rovers manager Stephen Bradley has explained why he’s enjoyed watching Chelsea this season as they prepare for Thursday’s Conference League clash.

It’s the first time the Blues have faced Irish opposition and it’s a chance to make it six wins from six in the league phase of the Conference League.

Chelsea are the only side left in the competition with a 100% record, but Shamrock are also yet to lose with three wins and two draws from their five games.

Enzo Maresca is set to heavily rotate his side once again with a difficult trip to Goodison Park to face Everton on Sunday.

If training on Wednesday was anything to go by then there’s a chance that six players from the academy could be involved.

Josh Acheampong is expected to start again having signed a new four and a half year deal on Wednesday, whilst Tyrique George and Sam Rak-Sakyi could potentially play again having started against Astana last week.

Shamrock will likely present a more difficult test than Astana, but it’s a game the Blues will be expected to win quite comfortably against their Irish counterparts.

Bradley himself is actually a Chelsea fan and feels Maresca has given the Blues an identity this season, which in his opinion has made them very enjoyable to watch.

“You have to enjoy watching a team like Chelsea play this year,” he said as quoted by The Independent.

“They’ve a mix of power, pace, a clear identity in what they’re doing, a real energy in the team.
