Chelsea booked a spot in the quarter-finals of the Europa Conference League by beating Copenhagen.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall scored the only goal of the game 10 minutes into the second half as the Blues went through 3-1 on aggregate.
Chelsea struggled to create in the first half and did not manage a single shot on goal, but the introduction of Cole Palmer at the break livened them up.
The Blues looked more threatening and Dewsbury-Hall’s goal meant their record in the competition is now eight wins from eight games.
Simon Collings was at Stamford Bridge to see Chelsea in action...
Filip Jorgensen 6
Started this game, which suggest he may not be in goal for Sunday’s trip to Arsenal. Had very little to do all night.
Trevoh Chalobah 6
Steady display at right-back as Chelsea kept a clean sheet. Had a good chance to score from a Cole Palmer cross early in the second half.
Tosin Adarabioyo 6
A strong display in the heart of Chelsea’s defence. Dominant in the air, although occasionally loose on the ball when trying to play long.
Benoit Badiashile 6
Pulled out quite wide to the left as Acheampong tucked into the midfield. A solid display, with and without the ball.
Josh Acheampong 6
Played at left-back, but tucked into midfield when Chelsea had the ball. Made a good block to deny Rodrigo Huescas, but hooked at half time.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall 7 | Star player
Scored the only goal of the game with a brilliant run and finish early in the second half. His third goal in the Conference League this season.

Moises Caicedo 7
A strong showing at the base of midfield and made his presence known with a few crunching tackles. Got a standing ovation when subbed off.
Enzo Fernandez 5
Like Acheampong, the midfielder was taken off at half time. Did not really get into the game as Chelsea failed to create in the first half.
Tyrique George 6
A lively performance from the winger, who was Chelsea’s only real threat in a flat first half. Full of endeavour and plenty of running.
Pedro Neto 6
Tasked with playing as a No9, again. Quiet in the first half, bar a penalty shout. Finished the game out right and looked brighter out there.
Jadon Sancho 5
Livened up after the break and began to cause Copenhagen some problems, but was pretty quiet. Taken off with 25 minutes to go.
Substitutions
Cole Palmer (Fernandez 45’) 7
Transformed Chelsea’s attack by coming on. They are just a different team when their star man is on the pitch.
Marc Cucurella (Acheampong 45’) 7
Won the ball high up the pitch for Dewsbury-Hall’s goal. Helped lift the tempo.
Christopher Nkunku (Sancho 65’) 5
On for the final 25 minutes, but could not make an impact.
Reece James (Caicedo 79’) N/A
Genesis Antwi (Neto 90’) N/A
Subs not used: Sanchez, Bergstrom, Colwill, Murray-Campbell, Amougou, Walsh, Mheuka
