According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are planning to reach an agreement that would see Emanuel Emegha (22) move to Stamford Bridge from Strasbourg in 2026. BlueCo are keen to see the Dutch striker progress within their ranks with a transfer to the Premier League outfit.

Despite Chelsea’s intentions to recruit the 22-year-old, there is no chance that he leaves the Stade de la Meinau this summer, Romano understands. Emegha is set to lead the line for Liam Rosenior’s side as they prepare to make their debut in the UEFA Conference League next term.

The Blues view the striker as a potential option for the future, capable of leading the line. By striking up an agreement for Emegha to move to the Premier League in 2026, Chelsea are set to beat divisional rivals in the race for his signature. Newcastle United have shown an interest in recruiting the services of the Strasbourg forward.
