Chelsea may have found their new number 10

Chelsea winger Willian has revealed that he will take the No.10 shirt ahead of next season.

The number is currently vacant after Eden Hazard joined Real Madrid in June, but an official announcement is yet to be made.

Callum Hudson-Odoi and new signing Christian Pulisic were reportedly contenders, though both have seemingly lost out to Willian.

“I was offered the number 10 jersey ahead of next season and I will take it,” he told Brazilian TV show Desimpedidos.

The Blues face Barcelona in Japan on Tuesday, and will be looking to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat to Kawasaki Frontale.
