Bayern Munich defender Niklas Sule is demanding a raise on his current salary to sign new terms.

The Germany international is inside the final 18 months of his current deal and being linked in Germany with Chelsea and Manchester United.

Sport1 says Sule is demanding a significant hike on his present wages to commit to a new arrangement.

Last week, Bayern chief exec Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: “He now has one more year contract in the summer and then talks will be held. And then you will see what results they lead to. If we find a solution, we are generally happy to extend the contract. But that will only be possible under certain conditions."

Bayern will seek at least €25m if they're forced to sell this summer.
