PSG face uncertainty between the goalposts as Lucas Chevalier emerges as a potential long-term option. Gianluigi Donnarumma is still under contract until 2026, but talks to extend his deal have stalled, and a new agreement doesn’t seem close.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are weighing its goalkeeper options, with Donnarumma reportedly among the candidates.
According to Fabrice Hawkins of RMC Sport, Donnarumma remains at PSG for now, but his agents are exploring possible moves. Manchester United, Manchester City, Galatasaray, and several Saudi clubs have shown interest.
For the moment, Donnarumma is committed to PSG and isn’t pushing for a transfer unless the right opportunity comes along. Internally, he could still compete with Chevalier for the starting spot, with Luis Enrique expected to make the final call, Hawkins adds.

Manchester United are reportedly looking to strengthen their goalkeeper options amid growing concerns about Andre Onana’s fitness. While the club hasn’t made an official offer yet, they remain involved in behind-the-scenes talks and are closely monitoring the situation.
Recently, journalist Duncan Castles said that Lucas Chevalier is expected to be PSG’s starting goalkeeper. PSG wants Gianluigi Donnarumma to leave this summer after the Italy international declined a contract extension. Interest in Donnarumma is coming from Inter Milan, Manchester United, and Chelsea.
