Chelsea looking to reach agreement now to sign big name defender in the summer | OneFootball

There have been a few reports floating around regarding this potential rumour on Tuesday, and it’s an interesting one for Chelsea.

With The Blues themselves looking like they could end up losing three of their own centre backs this summer as free transfers, then they must surely now be looking to make moves and contingency plans to replace at least one of those possible departures.

And they are doing just that, according to a couple of reports today, including this one from The Sunday World.

They claim that Chelsea are now looking to reach an agreement with Sevilla to sign defender Jules Kounde in a deal that will be agreed now, but with the player joining Chelsea in the summer and not during this transfer window.

This is something that does happen quite often and something that Chelsea have done previously. It might be wise to ward off any other interest.
