Chelsea linked with another highly rated young Barcelona player | OneFootball

Chelsea’s name has been thrown in the hat for yet another rising Barcelona star, according to a report yesterday.

Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo claim in their print edition that Chelsea are one of the teams interested in signing Barcelona’s 17-year old midfielder, Gavi, as cited by Football Talk.

He is certainly described as a real rising star and has already had 27 senior appearances in La Liga this season at the young age of 17. His contract runs out next summer though as things stand, hence the rumours of a move away and other clubs being interested, with Liverpool also being named in the report.

Chelsea will always be looking at the top young talents around world football, but this one I’m sure at this point is just some whispers going around. Barcelona will not want to let their best young talent leave the club anytime soon that I am sure of.
