This week, Le Parisien revealed that Paris Saint-Germain aren’t looking to make a late move for Napoli’s star Victor Osimhen. However, on Thursday, new information revealed that the Parisians remain in the race for the Nigerian as there are only hours left until the summer window closes.

The Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg reported on Thursday that PSG remain in the mix for Osimhen. Moreover, other reports have also revealed that the Ligue 1 side could be making a last-minute swoop of Osimhen.

Journalist Romain Collet-Gaudin reports that PSG might submit a new offer for Osimhen as soon as Friday evening, just before the transfer window closes.

Furthermore, Sports Zone reports that since May, Osimhen has been focused on joining PSG, and that hasn’t changed—it’s still his top priority. However, the French giants haven’t contacted him or his agent in several weeks, and it seems he’s not everyone’s first choice within the club.

According to Fabrice Hawkins from RMC Sport, Chelsea’s management are in Naples trying to convince Osimhen to join the club. Whether this does anything in the final hours remains to be seen.

Since transferring from Ligue 1’s LOSC Lille to Napoli, the Nigerian international has netted 76 goals in 133 appearances, including 65 goals in Serie A. Osimhen was also pivotal in securing Napoli’s league title in the 2022-23 season.
