Chelsea unfortunately have yet another new injury concern after the latest round of international matches played out this week, although we have to be thankful there is only one.

The latest international break has now finished, and the focus turns to Chelsea’s next game coming up this Saturday against Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Chelsea fans always hold their breaths through an international break as they hope to avoid any more injuries to key players.

Cole Palmer came back from England duty early due to fatigue, but he has been in Chelsea training so should be OK. Romeo Lavia is also currently injured and we don’t know when he is expected back.

And now, there are some concerns over goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen, who came off injured for his country this week.

Chelsea will assess Jorgensen

Jorgensen now injured

London World report that Jorgensen was forced off in Denmark’s Under-21 win against the Czech Republic on Tuesday night, with the severity of his injury still unclear.

They say he will be back at Cobham now to be assessed and is no a doubt for Saturday at the very least.

Denmark Under-21s boss Steffen Højer told Campo: “I don’t really know [how bad the injury is]. He’s being checked. I don’t know how bad it is, but it was certainly serious enough for him to come off. I just asked if he was okay. He was annoyed that he had to go off, but hopefully, it’s not something too serious.”

We will have to wait and see now.
