Some Chelsea fans may have been sleeping during Ecuador’s World Cup qualifier on Tuesday, but they’ll want to watch the highlights.
At just 16, Kendry Páez made his international debut and started against Uruguay.
But he went on to do more than just that, proving to be a vital player in both halves of the match.
The teenager took Ecuador’s corner kicks, pulled out trivelas, linked up with Chelsea’s Moisés Caicedo, and assisted for 2-1!
After Diego Armando Maradona, he became the youngest South American to feature for the senior national team and youngest ever for Ecuador.
Seems to be a true talent. Time will tell.
