Chelsea defender set to return for Spurs game
the Chelsea News
It’s hard to pick out any positives from Chelsea’s recent past – it’s all bad result, glum press conferences and injuries.
So let’s look forward a little and try to find something to cling onto there. Nizaar Kinsella has just reported that Trevoh Chalobah is on his way back to playing again after his latest injury issue kept him out for a couple of weeks.
The whole team will have two days off, today and tomorrow, and Chalobah will hope to be ready when they all reconvene on Friday for training.
Given how things are going, getting a centre back who was barely in the club’s plans 6 months ago back hardly feels like a big deal, but we’re all looking for any positives right now, and Chalobah’s breakthrough has been one of the best parts of this season.
It also insulates us further against other injuries at the back – it’s just a matter of time until we pick up our next one.
