The club are weighing up who to offer new and extended deals to right now, and who to let go or try and sell before their contract runs out.

There are two midfielders currently in the team who will need their contracts sorting out very soon, that is because both N’Golo Kante and Jorginho have contracts running out in the summer of 2023 which is fast approaching.

According to The Telegraph, preliminary talks have been held over trying to extend N’Golo Kanté’s contract. But the club are also debating whether or not to offer Jorginho a new deal or not.

Kante has obviously struggled with injuries but will be still seen as a very important player for the club unanimously. Jorginho will naturally divide opinions a bit more and a decision will need to be agreed on here.
